The Beausite Hotel is situated in Grouville on the south east coast of Jersey and looks onto the Royal Jersey Golf Course and the beautiful Bay of Grouville. At the east end of the bay is the picturesque harbour at Gorey nestled beneath the historic Mont Orgueil Castle, on a clear day the distant coast of France is visible. Grouville is some 10 minutes drive from St Helier harbour and 25 minutes from Jersey International Airport. Hire cars can be arranged by the hotel at very competitive rates. The first tee and naturally the clubhouse of the Royal Jersey Golf Club are approx. 300 metres away. Members of associated clubs may hire clubs from the Pro Shop and for a visitors green fee may enjoy playing this famous 18 hole course. There is a good selection of shops in the vicinity as well as path and country lanes to explore on foot, on bicycle or by car!The hotel's original granite farm buildings date back to 1636 and the public rooms have retained a traditional style, whilst the rest of the accommodation is of a spacious and modern design. The Beausite is an idyllic spot for the traveller who wishes to be away from the hustle and bustle of town life, yet be near to many local attractions. Families are welcome. |
